1923 Noel Lemass, an Anti-Treaty officer in the concluded Civil War was abducted in Dublin by the FS Army & executed. His mutilated body was discovered three months later in the Wicklow mountains. Noel’s brother Seán was Taoiseach from the 1959-1966.
