A day after the Ryan Casey defamation victory over the BBC, The Irish Mirror seem to be the only national paper to mention Kitty Holland as the individual who defamed Casey. RTE, Irish Times, Examiner, Independent, Journal, no mention. The national media is an activist cabal – the PR arm of the government – and because they are all on the public money take, and have all participated in the government’s grotesque lie to turn Ashling’s brutal murder into a misogyny issue rather than a gross failure of government migration policy over decades, they all circle the wagons and are watching one another’s backs. The sooner the rotten institution is torn down the better.
