He doesn’t drink, likes good coffee and is partial to a carvery roast at lunchtime. The daily habits of the legendary hurler-turned fraudster DJ Carey have not gone unnoticed in the midlands town of Moate, Co Westmeath.
The all-star Kilkenny hurler has spent much of the last two years on bail for fraud charges residing at different addresses in rural villages in Westmeath and, most recently, Offaly.
