Five people have been arrested in connection with the murder

GARDAI have launched a renewed appeal for information in relation to the murder of Paul ‘Frank’ Byrne, whose body was found in a wooded area in Co Wicklow in 2010.

The Dubliner was 20 years old when he was last seen on July 15, 2009 leaving Kilmartin Green in Tallaght in a 2000-registered wine-coloured Mitsubishi Carisma, along with several other men.Paul was reported missing by his mother at Tallaght Garda Station the following day.

The young man’s body was then discovered by a forestry worker in a wooded area in Blessington, Co Wicklow on July 29, 2010.

Five people have been arrested in connection to the murder investigation, however no one has yet been brought to justice.

Gardai are today renewing their calls for help with the investigation with anyone who may have any information urged to come forward.
