Woman ‘sexually assaulted’ at busy Tube station after being ‘approached & followed’ by man as cops release CCTV

Cops have asked for anyone with information to come forward

A man approached a woman at the station and started talking to her.

He then followed her through the station before sexually assaulting her as she went up the stairs, police have said.

The British Transport Police has now released two CCTV images of a man officers want to speak to.

A spokesman for the force said: “Do you recognise this man? Officers investigating a sexual assault at Bank Underground station have today released these images in connection.

“Just before 4pm on Saturday 14 June, a man approached a woman at the station and engaged her in conversation.
