In 2004, 79% of people who turned out to vote in the Anchor Baby Referendum, voted yes to limit Irish citizenship. Fast forward 20 years and the current Irish Government are not only ignoring the instruction of the Irish people, but they are knowingly going against their wishes. For all of those people who are endlessly quoting “democracy” – the Irish Government are disregarding the democratic instruction of the Irish people
