NEW EU LAW SAYS JOURNALISTS ARE FREE… UNTIL THEY’RE NOT The EU just passed a “media freedom” law that protects reporters unless the government thinks arresting them is in the “public interest.” It also lets them spy on journalists for serious crimes and keep national lists of who owns the media.
