HUNDREDS of parishioners last night gathered for a vigil in memory of a man murdered in Co Down and to pray for the recovery of a priest who was assaulted in church.
A murder investigation has been launched after a man was found dead at a house in Downpatrick, Co Down yesterday, which police say may be linked to a “brutal” attack on a priest in the same town.
