THIS is the creepy moment an on-duty cop stole a woman’s underwear while searching her home.
Marcin Zielinski was captured rifling through the victim’s belongings before focusing on a chest of drawers.
The 27-year-old then takes a pair of underwear from inside and stuffs it inside his pocket before shutting the drawer.
Hertfordshire Constabulary PC Zielinski then left the bedroom with the pants still inside his uniform.
He has now been jailed for four months after pleading guilty to one charge of theft and a charge of corrupt/improper exercise of police powers and privileges by a constable.
Cambridge Crown Court heard Zielinski was carrying out a Section 32 search at a home in Stevenage on September 12, 2024 .A woman living at the address had been arrested in connection with an unrelated matter and was later released with no further action taken.
Zielinski resigned from the force while he was still under investigation in November 2024.
Hertfordshire Constabulary Assistant Chief Constable Genna Telfer said: “Zielinski has let down the public of Hertfordshire, the police service as a whole and his former colleagues, who act with professionalism and integrity.
