VIEW POINT EXTRA: Robert Westman changed his name by deed poll in 2019 to Robin Westman. Because he was a minor at the time his mother Mary Grace Westman submitted the petition on his behalf in November of that year. On Wednesday he randomly Murdered two children and wounded seventeen others in a gun attack at the church attached to the school he used attend. This was in Minneapolis in the US. He then committed suicide. His social media material was full of violent imagery, threats and evidence of grossly disturbed behaviour. It is legitimate to ask was his disturbed violent behaviour and his transgenderism different components of the same dysfunction. At this point the investigation is at an early stage but central to that investigation must be the question was his Transgenderism a factor in the shooting. Also central to the investigation must be whether his gender dysphoria was pandered to or challenged as is now best practice medical care for young people with gender dysphoria.
