Spanish Police suspect that up to 70 illegal Migrants may have been murdered by other Migrants after having been accused of witchcraft onboard a migrant boat heading for the Canary Islands. 20-30 other Migrants are suspected of shooting them or forcing them to jump into the sea. Most of the Suspects are still held in Spanish refugee centers at this time, but the first arrests have already been made. The Spanish coastguard picked up around 250 people from the boat off the coast of the city of Dakhla in the disputed Western Sahara territory a week ago. In a statement from the National Police, a spokesperson said: “The National Police reports that the death toll cannot yet be officially estimated, as the case is still under Police investigation.
