Many of us know this bloke… His name is Melbourne Inman KC. He is the Circuit judge who sentenced Lucy Connolly to 31 months. Certain Lawyers subsequently said they were “sickened” by how Draconian the sentence was. He also infamously used his sentencing remarks to make overt Political statements, lecturing Lucy that, “it is strength of our society that it is both Diverse and Inclusive.” It would hard to find a clearer example of a Judge exposing his metropolitan liberal bias. While researching member of our captured Judiciary yesterday, I stumbled across a rather curious announcement… Turns out, he’s now retired. On July 1st, 2025, the Judiciary UK website announced his retirement. In other words, the judge who handed down one of the most controversial sentences for online Speech retired just days before the prisoner he sentenced was due for release. Just a coincidence at the end of a long career, or a quiet attempt to avoid scrutiny? Inman looks a Right Nasty piece, the name Speaks Volumes?
