A judge has jailed a Cork man to 17 months behind bars for a series of “entirely unprovoked and random” attacks on women in a midlands town earlier this year.
Fifty-year-old Tim Dennehy of Glanmore, Ballyhea, Charleville, Cork was brought before a sitting of Athlone District Court in connection to five separate assaults, four of which were perpetrated on women on April 2.
