Married dad of 3 Liam Gilger from Westport, Ireland was stung by members of the Child Online Protection Enforcers NI on the 24th of August 2025.

After contacting a 13 year old child using social media, concerned parents contacted Protecting Pompeys Innocent who produced evidence to sting by COPE NI Liam Gilger had been communicating indecently with numerous young children under the age of 15 online requesting multiple indecent images of the child, despite admitting to having a wife and 3 children under the age of 13 residing with him.

During the sting video, another male showed up and protecting Liam and he was taken back into his wifes house, where his children also reside.
