THE Minister has confirmed that 24 men have been removed from the State on a chartered flight that left Dublin yesterday.
Yesterday, the Garda National Immigration Bureau of An Garda Siochana carried out an operation removing individuals from the State.
The operation resulted in the removal of 24 males.
All individuals were removed on a flight which left Dublin Airport for Pakistan at around 7pm yesterday evening and arrived in Islamabad this morning.
The deportation orders against the Pakistani nationals were enforced using a charter flight.
In a statement this morning, An Garda Siochana said it will continue to “work closely” with the Department of Justice in implementing immigration policy.
In February, Minister for Justice Jim O’Callaghan confirmed that chartered deportation flights had recommenced in order to enforce Ireland’s immigration laws.
This marks the fourth operation conducted in 2025.
