He appeared in court charged in connection with an incident of alleged false imprisonment and endangerment of a woman in Co Kerry in the early hours of Sunday. The charges are that he intentionally or recklessly engaged in conduct while driving a car with the front door open, he merged onto the main road, in the knowledge that the passenger was hanging out of the vehicle, which created a substantial risk of death or serious harm to another, on 28 September at Clieveragh Road, Listowel. He was also charged with false imprisonment of the victim on the same date; with dangerous driving; and with the theft of the victim’s mobile phone.
