Ok now they’re just taking the absolute Piss out of us. The Government is paying personal grants of up to €10,000 for asylum seekers to leave Ireland voluntarily. Up to €2,318,000 has already been paid out to 1,159 people in 2025. But It gets worse! They’re not barred from Ireland, they can legally return on a visa or permit afterwards!
