Anyone from Drogheda can tell you West Street the heart of Drogheda is dying. Another blow to the town is Dunnes is closing at the end of the month, many rumours are circulating at the minute none have definitive proof yet. If penny’s and Tesco pull which I suspect Tesco might do when the new one opens up on the retail park the town will be gone. The local councillors and TDs are pushing for a city status when the town is falling apart. The town has become an ipas hub full of money laundering shops. The government has destroyed Drogheda and I fear for my kids future in this town.
