Reports from 2016 to 2025 documented at least six potential victims

SADIQ Khan has been accused of “turning a blind eye” to grooming gangs in the capital in the face of “credible evidence” of horror assaults.

A new investigation has highlighted horrifying cases of young girls being raped in hotels by groups of men.

Reform UK MP Lee Anderson has slammed the London Mayor, accusing him of ignoring the gangs in the city.

He said: “There is real, credible evidence that grooming gangs exist in London, and for the Mayor to have potentially turned a blind eye is utterly shameful,” GB News reported.

The London Mayor previously claimed there were “no reports and no indication” of grooming gangs.

Met Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley also said the force has “not seen” them in the past – but this week admitted there are “several live investigations” in the London Assembly.

MyLondon reported that the Met Police has a “steady flow” of cases and a “very significant” number of historic case reviews that will cost millions to investigate.

Reports from 2016 to 2025 documented at least six potential victims, including a 15-year-old girl who was raped by several men before going missing for four days.

A social worker said the girl was coerced to go to a hotel where she was given drugs and alcohol and forced to carry out sexual acts on men.

A 17-year-old girl was given alcohol before being raped by several men in a different report, according to the Express.

These were highlighted in several Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services reports.

The youngest involved a girl aged just 13 who went missing overnight, and was reported to police as being in a room with three men.

A case from 2016 told of two victims, one just 16, who said she was raped several times over three years. She said the group of men in London threatened to hurt her and her family.

Former Greater Manchester Police detective Maggie Oliver, who was a whistleblower in the grooming gangs scandal, claimed those at the top “wanted to cover it up”.

She said that for at least three of the cases reported, she is certain they involve a grooming gang.

The shadow home secretary Chris Philp also joined in on the accusations of a cover up.
