Emergency services were called to a residence in Kilmessan, Co Meath, shortly after 5.30pm on Tuesday evening, where they found a woman unresponsive

She was later pronounced dead at the scene, which has been preserved for a technical examination. The Coroner has been informed and both the Garda Technical Bureau and Office of the State Pathologist have been asked to assist with the investigation.
