RTE paid Jim Jennings €475,000 in exit fees in August 2024. You’ll recall Jim was in the eye of the Ryan Tubridy storm when Tubridy suddenly quit on 13 March 2023. Jim went off sick when the doo-doo hit the fan in June 2023, & refused to answer questions (even written ones).

Given Dee Forbes “illness”, Jim Jennings “illness” and Ryan Tubridy not explaining when he had ample opportunity, we’ll probably never find out what happened on that Monday when Tubridy quit, but it was crazy suspicious coincidence that he did after auditors uncovered fraud.
