The Athlone illegal IPAS camp, out of which a 16 year old girl was raped by one of very few African migrants who had arrived that same week, is being dismantled – by order of the court. The government fought hard to keep this open to admit at least 900 more illegals into the town. The victory is owed to protest-pressure mounted at the gate, and in the legal case headed by local independent councillor Paul Hogan. This whole sinister mess was imposed on the town with only a few hours notice, one year ago. Since then, local media and Garda (police) corruption have been exposed, in denying any reports of the teenagers rape, up to the rapist appearing in court months later. The government has been exposed for abandoning its’ duty to the people. Local independent government minister, Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran, has been exposed for his traitorous U-turn against the people he promised to box-for, all to assure his place at the trough. The people came together. Their town is worth more to them than to the profiteers. All eyes now on where these tents go to next.
