
In Carey’s case, given the nature of his crimes, he was assessed as potentially “stubborn”, “arrogant” and “belligerent”.
However, he was the exact opposite when he arrived to begin his five and a half year term, with sources saying he was “completely stunned”, “utterly rattled”, “as white as a ghost” and that there “wasn’t a peep out of him”.
Carey has been held in the committal wing of Mountjoy Prison since he was jailed on Monday.
