This is true; Epping is everyone’s problem and every right-minded person is standing with the people who live there. They’ve shared their lived experience of undocumented, fighting aged men intimidating their girls. There is the mother who can no longer allow her daughter to attend the gym close by to the bell hotel for fear of unwanted attention and the brother who wanted to get even with some of the migrants after his sister was left feeling uncomfortable by the men housed there. The recent court case and eventual premature prison release was horrifying. Let’s hope the residents of Epping can feel safe again in the not too distant future.
