
At her funeral this morning, several gifts were brought to the altar to symbolise her love of fashion – including a cushion, a Gucci book, one of Catriona’s suits and a hat.
A brother of Strokestown fashion designer Catriona Hanly has described her as a ‘jewel in the crown’ – who lit up a room.
Her funeral Mass took place today in Kiltrustan Church in her native Co Roscommon.
She died peacefully on Saturday.
Her fashion collections were known across the world and were worn by the likes of Vogue Williams and Amanda Byram.
