Three former members of the armed forces who attacked another young man in a “Brutal” late-night row over a spilled drink in a bar have been given fully Suspended sentences. After the Suspended terms were handed down, the victim got up to leave the courtroom before the Judge interjected. “They’re not getting off, there are real consequences for them,” she told him. “These Sentences are hanging over them like a Sword of Damocles.”
