COPS have released CCTV footage of a man after multiple women reported being sexually assaulted on a seafront.
Police were alerted after a string of women said they were approached by a man in Hove Lawns, East Sussex, and the surrounding area while they were exercising, or resting post-exercise.The man is reported to have engaged the victims in conversation – typically between 4.30am and 9.30am – before sexually assaulting them over their clothing.
Descriptions from the victims commonly describe the man who approached them as bald and in his 40s, said Sussex Police.
He is also said to have a Spanish or Italian accent and is described as often wearing exercise clothes.
Cops have now released images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with enquiries.

Anyone who recognises him, or has any information that could help the investigation, is asked to contact police online or via 101, quoting Operation August.
Sussex Police said the recent incidents have been linked to previous reports received in 2023 and 2024.
These reports were subject to an investigation and the arrest of a suspect who was released with no further action taken.
Detective Inspector Jenny Pietersen said: “Public safety is our priority, and proactive enquiries are underway to identify this individual.
