The hypocrisy of Minister McEntee announcing that Ireland unequivocally stands with Ukraine to guarantee its “independence and sovereignty” whilst the State have systematically destroyed Ireland’s independence and sovereignty by handing it over to the EU. The thinking people of Ireland know that the State will continue to throw the Irish people under the bus. The State do not serve our interests but instead follow the dictates of their globalist and EU Paymasters. They have already squandered billions of tax payers’ money on Ukraine without the mandate of the Irish people. They have abandoned any illusion of neutrality. Ireland has already paid over €380 million direct funding to Ukraine since 2022.Ireland has taken in more Ukrainian refugees per head of population than the UK and major EU nations. Ireland has paid billions to accommodate Ukrainians. The State have spent an outrageous €270 million on modular housing for Ukrainians, €141 milllion in 2024 alone on the Ukrainian Accommodation Recognition Payment scheme and €1.6 million in 2023 as part of a scheme for Ukrainians to buy and lease cars. Billions have been spent on accommodation for Ukrainians and social welfare payments. Ireland has the highest ever recorded number of homelessness on history, the most overcrowded classrooms and the longest hospital waiting lists in Europe. How many older people in Ireland will die of hypothermia because they cannot afford heating oil this winter. Enough is ENOUGH!
