Coming up live on the show today at 12pm : An American influencer has angered many feminists by saying: “There is a limited window of time for easy, healthy pregnancies. You can start a new career at 50.” She’s essentially arguing that having children is more important for a woman than having a career. In Ireland today, the average age of a woman having her first child is almost 32, up from 25 in the 1980s as more women prioritise their careers. In the U.S., the average is still lower at 27.5. Obviously, as the average age goes up, the number of babies born tends to go down. Is your career more important than having children? Comments to WhatsApp 085 100 22 55
