OPINION: THE WEST SHOULD FIX ITS BROKEN IMMIGRATION SYSTEM

No one is entitled to a student visa. Full stop. It’s not right. It’s not guaranteed. The burden is on you to prove you’re not a threat, not on the U.S. to prove you are. If someone shows up at a visa interview and says something that goes against the U.S.’s best interest, you get denied on the spot. If you lie your way in and then start screaming it on campus the next week? Visa revoked, ass on the next plane home. Sec Rubio admitted what everyone already knew but was terrified to say: the old system was completely broken because nobody was enforcing the obvious. And here’s the part every single country needs to tattoo on their forehead: What other country in the world would allow this? Exactly. None. Japan? Lol no. Saudi Arabia? They’d laugh you out of the embassy. China? You’d disappear. Israel? Try it and see what happens. Even nice and polite Canada is quietly deporting people for less. Only the self-hating West spent years pretending that importing people who openly want it dead was some kind of moral obligation. This needs to be the global standard tomorrow: You want to study/work/live in said country? Prove you’re not there to harm it. National security shouldn’t be a negotiation. Source:
