Our revelation on his behaviour comes as he prepares to spend his first Christmas behind bars as a life-sentenced lag

JAILED wife killer Stephen Mooney refuses to engage with other prisoners and has taken a vow of silence, The Irish Sun on Sunday can reveal.
Mooney — prisoner number 121064 — has been shelled with questions from other inmates about his background but has chosen to “say nothing”.
The 53-year-old, who subjected his wife Anna, 43, to a brutal murder at their home in Kilbarrack, north Dublin, on June 15, 2023, has also refused to talk about his conviction.
Although Mooney is on the same landing as members of the Kinahan mob, he has spent most of his time avoiding other major criminals on the D wing of Dublin’s Mountjoy Prison.
Our revelation on his behaviour comes as he prepares to spend his first Christmas behind bars as a life-sentenced lag.
A prison source told The Irish Sun on Sunday: “Mooney has been very introverted since his conviction and he won’t engage in any type of conversation inside.
