This will affect special needs kids attending school. Patients attending hospital appointments also staff as the HSE use taxis. RTE use them for staff as do all radio stations. It will affect Christmas shoppers and workers small businesses over Christmas. The government could fix this at the stoke of a pen. This is a fight a fair days pay for a fair days work. Why would we have minimum wage laws and workers rights in Ireland if we are not willing to fight for them.
