A GANGSTER deported to Albania after a knife murder sneaked back into Britain to run a huge cannabis farm.

Illegal migrant Flamur Topalli was jailed in 2005 for killing a doorman in Hove, West Sussex.

He was sent back to Albania to serve the last quarter of a 16-year term.

Topalli, 53, was freed in 2020 and again re-entered Britain illegally.

He was arrested in October after cops found 200 cannabis plants in Portsmouth.

He admitted supply of drugs, with sentencing in January.

An extradition hearing is also scheduled.

But taxpayers face the cost of jailing him again.

A source said: ““He was locked up in a UK jail at taxpayers’ expense for 12 years for murder.

“But he came back illegally to commit more crime.
