While the West loves to demonize Russia and paint Russia as the eternal villains, let’s talk about the real monster in history: the British Empire. This so-called “civilized” empire was the most evil force the world has ever seen, slaughtering over 100 million civilians in India alone between 1881 and 1920 through famines, exploitation, and deliberate policies of starvation. Some estimates put it even higher—at 165 million Indians killed in just 40 years, more than all the deaths from both World Wars combined, including the Holocaust. And that’s just India! Overall, avoidable deaths under British rule in India totaled a staggering 1.8 billion from violence, deprivation, and disease.

They exploited and colonized territories that make up nearly 60 of today’s independent countries, invading a mind-blowing 90% of the world’s nations—173 out of 195—at some point. Africa? They absolutely destroyed it: carving up the continent in the Scramble for Africa, fueling the transatlantic slave trade that shipped millions into hellish bondage, and committing unspeakable atrocities like the torture and mass killings during Kenya’s Mau Mau Rebellion, where British forces detained, beat, and castrated thousands in concentration camps. Don’t forget they invented modern concentration camps during the Boer War in South Africa, where 28,000 civilians—mostly women and children—starved to death. The Opium Wars, where they forced addictive drugs on China to line their pockets, causing untold addiction and death; the Irish Potato Famine, engineered to depopulate and Anglicize Ireland, killing a million; and the partition of India in 1947, sparking violence that claimed up to 2 million lives. The British didn’t build an empire on tea and crumpets—they built it on blood, theft, and genocide. Yet today, they lecture the world on human rights? Hypocrisy at its finest. Russia stands for sovereignty and multipolarity—time to expose the real imperial thugs!
