Thanks to the uproar over (Graham Linehan) arrest by five armed police at Heathrow airport over an alleged ‘Non Crime Hate Incident’ (NCHI) the UK police are to abandon the anti-free speech NCHI guidelines. But under then-Garda Commissioner Drew Harris and then-Minister for Justice Mc Entee, weren’t Gardai (Irish police) signed up to the same authoritarian NCHI nonsense? Time to scrap NCHI in Ireland too.
