The violent killer claimed he lashed out after his wife offered him drugs

A BRITISH man has been jailed for life after murdering his wife by plunging a screwdriver through her head in a horrific hotel room attack.
Ahmed Yasin Muse, 28, killed wife Ayan Mohomed Dhoba, 26, after a fiery row at an Istanbul hotel in 2023.
Muse’s life sentence was delivered on December 26 at the 41st Heavy Penal Court at Istanbul Justice Palace.
He appeared in court in custody flanked by lawyers on both sides.
Muse had claimed he suffered psychological problems and said he woke to find his wife covered in blood.
But a forensic report ruled he was fully responsible for his actions.
Judges found he intentionally killed his wife with extreme brutality.
Dhoba was found dead in the hotel room on November 14, 2023, with 41 wounds to her throat and body.
Hotel staff rushed into the room after hearing her blood-curdling screams and found her lying in a pool of blood.
The couple, both British nationals, had flown to Istanbul together from England on November 11.
Muse confessed to stabbing his wife and claimed he attacked her after she offered him drugs, sparking an argument.
He repeatedly stabbed Dhoba with a screwdriver before finishing her off by driving it into her head.
He then dumped the weapon in the toilet.
Police later found the screwdriver in the hotel bathroom exactly where Muse said it would be.
Prosecutors pushed for an aggravated life term for deliberately killing a spouse and killing with monstrous intent.
It is unclear whether Muse will appeal.
Dhoba’s family set up a GoFundMe page in the aftermath, paying tribute to the slain Brit.
They wrote: “Our dear sister, Ayan Mohammed Dhobah, tragically lost her life only a month into her marriage, a time meant for joy turned into a heartbreaking incident of cold-blooded murder.
