Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage to a number of vehicles in a car park off Main Street, Duleek, Co Meath.
At around 10.50pm yesterday, gardaí and emergency services responded to reports of eight cars on fire at the car park to the rear of a premises.
No injuries were reported.
The scene has been sealed for a technical examination to be carried out.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them.
Anyone who was in the vicinity of Main Street between 10opm and 11.15pm on 2 January and who may have video footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
