On this Day, 4th Jan. (1980). 21 year old Catholic Alexander Reid from Ardoyne was beaten to death by a mob of Loyalists when he made the fatal mistake of getting a Shankill rd taxi. His body was found by the RUC in a derelict garage, Berlin St. RIP Alex
