
COPS have released CCTV in their hunt for a man after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted on a train.
A man sat next to a passenger and sexually assaulted her, British Transport Police said.
She moved seats twice in an effort to get away from him, but he followed her both times.
Cops said this happened on the District line, towards Cannon Street Tube station in London on December 15, just before 8pm.
They said in an appeal: “Do you recognise this man?
“Officers investigating a sexual assault on a board a District Line train towards Cannon Street Underground station have released this image in connection.
“Just before 8pm on Monday 15 December, a man sat next to and sexually assaulted a woman.
“When she twice moved seats to get away from him, he followed her both times before sitting next to her once more.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 683 of 15 December.
