Posted by It’s easy for them to blame Trump for everything they pretend to dislike or disagree with. The same left and socialist voices, including Irish politicians who were openly hoping and praying to any good that would listen for Kamala Harris to win the U.S. election and now condemn Trump over Nicolás Maduro arrest, while conveniently ignoring their leftie buddies recent history. What they seem to forget is that on January 10, 2025, the U.S. government under the Biden/ Harris administration increased the reward to up to $25 million for information leading to the arrest and or conviction of Maduro under the Narcotics Rewards Program. This decision was announced on the very day Maduro was sworn in for a controversial third term, and it was accompanied by new sanctions on senior Venezuelan officials. So when Irish politicians and socialists now express outrage at Trump for pursuing Maduro, they are condemning a policy that was already in place and escalated by the administration they supported and wanted re-elected. That isn’t moral consistency, it’s political hypocrisy.
