Chilling footage shows the hit on Lt. Mahmoud Haqiqat, the police station boss and ex-intel chief in Iranshahr, Sistan and Baluchestan. A guy infamous for stomping on anti-Tehran Baluch dissidents. The video shows a shooter leaning out of a car window, unloading on Haqiqat’s car until it veers off the road in a dust cloud crash. Baloch militant group Jaish al-Adl is claiming the takedown, calling it payback. This hits during a period of raging tensions in the Sunni-heavy Baloch region, where crackdowns on protests have folks boiling.
