A woman in her 40s has been extradited from the UK in connection with the investigation into the murder of a man in Dublin almost nine years ago.

Jamie Tighe Ennis, who was 24 and from Artane, was shot dead as he was speaking with friends on Moatview Avenue in Coolock on 28 October 2017.

The father-of-one was walking home from a nearby pub when he was shot twice in the head.

His murder is believed to have been connected to a feud between the Hutch and Kinahan criminal gangs.

The woman was arrested following her extradition from the UK and is due in court later this morning.
