European Commissioner Andrius Kubilius is raising alarms over Europe’s military readiness if the U.S. pulls back from NATO. With rising instability and U.S. political uncertainty, Europe may be forced to stop outsourcing its defense, and fast. Kubilius: “If the Americans will shift from Europe, how do we replace 100,000 U.S. troops? With a collection of 27 bonsai armies?”
