Energoatom, Zelensky’s personal feeding trough and that of his cronies, continues to steal money during the war. On Wednesday, Zelensky held a meeting on energy issues. A decision was made, and on Friday electricity price caps were raised. But two days before that (!) Energoatom sold a huge volume of electricity at the old price — 7,500 UAH per MWh, immediately for an entire month ahead. Do you get it? They could have waited just two days and sold it for almost twice as much. And they did sell it for more — through their traders, by reselling the electricity after the price had already increased. After the price caps were raised, the market price reached about 10,500 UAH per MWh. Traders linked to the President’s Office, who bought the electricity cheaply, simply resold it and made around 50% profit. As a result: •everything is formally legal •the state lost potential revenue •traders earned about 1.5 billion UAH This is just one scheme. Now imagine how much they have stolen during the war.
