Islamists understand leftism will only weaken the West by destroying its values, culture, and institutions, so they naturally prop them up in every single Western country.
Islamists like the Muslim Brotherhood and the Islamic Regime in Iran find opportunity in the leftist chaos and keep on feeding it.
(The Brotherhood once called for civilizational jihad against the US btw. They’re gonna need some local friends for that.)
So either America and the West defend their civilization from the left at home or they go fight the other half of the alliance at home and abroad. Or both, it seems.
