A WOMAN has admitted plundering thousands of pounds worth of designer handbags and jewellery from wealthy homes.
Roseann Pelosi, 62, swiped items including a cream Gucci handbag and a silver Gucci necklace from a property in Bothwell, Lanarkshire.

Among the items she stole was a Hermes handbag which can cost up to £20,000 if bought new
She also took a sought-after Hermes handbag, a Gucci sweater and another black Gucci handbag as well as a bottle of perfume from the house.
She further targeted a house in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, and stole a three-stone diamond engagement ring.
Sheriff Shirley McKenna deferred sentence on Pelosi until next month for reports.
Niamh Rankin, defending, told the court: “She is not working at the moment and is in receipt of disability allowance.”
