Jill Biden’s ex-husband, 77, pleads not guilty to murder after death of wife
A state grand jury this month charged William Stevenson with first-degree murder after his spouse Linda was found unresponsive at their home in Wilmington, Delaware, on 28 December.

The ex-husband of former first lady Jill Biden has pleaded not guilty to the charge of murder after the death of his wife.
William Stevenson, 77, appeared via video link in court in Wilmington, Delaware, on Tuesday in connection with the death of 64-year-old Linda Stevenson last year.
He was married to Ms Biden from 1970 to 1975.
A state grand jury this month charged Stevenson with first-degree murder after his wife was found at their home in Wilmington on 28 December.

At the time, police said they were called to the couple’s home shortly after 11pm for a reported domestic dispute, and discovered Ms Stevenson unresponsive in the living room.
He has remained in custody since he was charged on 3 February with murder, unable to post the $2m (£1.48m) bail.
The results of a post-mortem have not been revealed.
