Ireland follows the European social model, high tax, universal welfare, strong regulation, open borders. Dubai runs a low-tax global city model.
If any political party in Ireland tried to introduce Dubai like policies they would be immediately labelled, far-right nazis:
low income tax
No citizenship for expats
No asylum
Welfare for citizens only
No min wage
No employment rights
Skyscrapers
Pro-energy
Infrastructure built quickly
Proposing even parts of this seems politically impossible here.
But yet so many Irish choose it….
