A MIGRANT raped a “vulnerable” woman in a terrifying sex attack after ambushing her on a night out.
Musafar Hotak, 25, preyed on the victim after she was asked to leave Cafe Parfait bar in Southampton.
After she became separated from her friends, the woman attempted to contact her girlfriend when she was approached by the fiend.
Hotak, from Afghanistan, followed her as the woman begged him to stop in a chilling voicemail recorded on her phone.
The next thing she remembered was waking up in one of Hotak’s family member’s homes with him lying on top of her raping her.
Hotak has now been jailed for ten years after being convicted of rape and sexual assault by penetration.
In a victim impact statement, the woman said she lived in “constant fear” and told how the attack had “left scars in every part of my life” which had led her to self-harm and attempt to take her own life.
She said: “What happened to me destroyed my life in ways I never thought possible. I didn’t just feel violated, I felt erased.
“Since that day I have lived in fear, shame, silence and unbearable pain that I can’t fully describe.
“I was left feeling broken and empty and terrified of the world around me.”
As well as a jail term, the rapist was handed an indefinite restraining order not to contact the victim and placed him on the sex offenders’ register.
Judge Gary Lucie told Hotak, who was assisted by a Pashtu interpreter: “The Home Office will consider whether to deport you.”
