More than 60 South African nationals, including nine children, have been deported.
The Garda National Immigration Bureau carried out an operation removing individuals from the State on foot of deportation orders issued by the Minister for Justice.
The 28 men, 26 women and nine juveniles were removed on a chartered flight which left Dublin yesterday and arrived in South Africa this morning.
The children were all part of family groups.
Ten of those removed had been convicted of offences here.
RTÉ News understands that the Oyekanmi family were among those deported.
